📍 Where is The Haunted Hideout located?
We’re located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter at 534 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, CA. Look for the haunted facade on the street — you can’t miss it.
👻 What is The Haunted Hideout?
The Haunted Hideout is a pop-up immersive haunted walkthrough that leads into our spookeasy-style bar and lounge.
Guests can:
- Purchase a ticket for the haunted walkthrough, ending in the lounge.
- Enter the bar/lounge directly for free, based on capacity.
🕒 How do tickets and entry times work?
Haunted walkthrough tickets are sold in 30-minute time windows. Your ticket gives you a 30-minute arrival window, plus a 15-minute grace period. Please arrive on time to ensure entry.
💸 Do I need a ticket to access the bar/lounge?
No ticket is needed to enter the Spookeasy bar & lounge, but: Entry is first come, first served and subject to capacity and priority is given to guests exiting the haunted walkthrough.
⏳ How long can I stay?
You're welcome to enjoy the Spookeasy bar & lounge as long as you'd like, but seating is first come, first served and not guaranteed. During peak hours, a 90-minute visit limit may be enforced to ensure all guests get a chance to experience the space.
🧁 Is there food and drink?
Yes! The lounge features: Themed cocktails, Non-alcoholic options, Immersive food offerings with spooky twists.
♿ Is The Haunted Hideout ADA accessible?
The bar and lounge area is ADA accessible. The haunted walkthrough is not ADA accessible due to venue limitations.
🎭 Are costumes allowed?
Yes! We love when guests get into the spirit. However: No full-face coverings or masks, No realistic weapons, No excessively gory or inappropriate costumes. Staff reserve the right to deny entry based on costume content.
👶 Is it family friendly?
The haunted walkthrough is not recommended for guests 12 and under. The Spookeasy bar & lounge is family friendly until 10 PM. After 10 PM, the space is 21+ only.
🌙 What happens at night?
On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the Spookeasy bar/lounge transforms into a nightlife experience after 10 PM — featuring: DJs or curated music, Enhanced atmosphere, 21+ only entry.
😱 How scary is the walkthrough?
The Haunted Hideout is designed to be creepy, atmospheric, and full of surprises — but not extreme. You’ll encounter live performers, sudden scares, fog, strobe effects, and eerie environments that are meant to thrill rather than traumatize. If you’re sensitive to loud sounds, dark spaces, or strobe lighting, you may want to skip the walkthrough and head straight to the Spookeasy lounge instead.
🗓 When is it open?
The Haunted Hideout runs from October 10 to November 2. We are open most nights — check our calendar for exact dates and hours.
📷 Can I take photos or videos?
Photos are welcome in the bar/lounge! No photography or filming is allowed during the haunted walkthrough (to preserve the experience for others).
